Artist Bluff Trail How Long. The best lookout is towards the end of the hike,it was really foggy and rainy when we went so we couldn’t really see the mountains but you get an awesome view of the lake below. It was a fairly easy hike and the views are amazing!

It only requires a 1.5 mile loop hike to do both of the viewing areas, leaving plenty of time to do many of the other attractions in the area. Artist bluff trail is a 1.5 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near franconia, new hampshire that features a lake and is rated as moderate. Because the trail was said to be fairly easy and gradual, i felt safe bringing the pups along.

The warm colors of fall foliage make me happy and give me energy, but views like this don’t last long because of falling leaves, so i was so glad to.

The bluff is known for its moderate climbing routes and beautifully textured granite. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and bird watching and is best used from april until september. It will quickly ascend for the next 0.2 mile to the hieght of land where a number of small overlooks on the summit containing artist bluff. Thanks to all for a job well done.
